DLA Piper has assisted the Denmark-based night-life group REKOM Group A/S in connection with its acquisition of 18 bars and night clubs

DLA Piper has assisted the Denmark-based night-life group REKOM Group in connection with its acquisition of 18 bars and night clubs from the Danish purchasing group Nox Network. DLA Piper’s assistance included a full due-diligence review as well as the drafting and negotiation of 18 individual transfer agreements with approx. 40 sellers, all reinvesting in the REKOM Group.  

REKOM Group is Scandinavia’s largest night-life group, which, following the acquisitions, will consist of 118 bars and night clubs in Scandinavia. The acquisitions form part of an international growth strategy, whereby the new bars, night clubs and partners are to contribute to achieve a revenue of DKK 1bn in 2020 and, in the long term, to cement REKOM as the largest night-life group in Europe.

The acquisitions await a final approval from the competition authorities.
