There is a lot at stake for those involved in restructuring proceedings. The Nordic restructuring group consists of more than 50 lawyers across the Nordic region.
- Acting as a trustee in bankruptcy of the major Nordic airlines Cimber Sterling and Primera Air.
- Represented ALLIANCE+ AB, a major Sweden-based provider of cleaning and facility management services, in the restructuring of ALLIANCE+ in Sweden in 2019. ALLIANCE+ AB is a subsidiary of the Danish ALLIANCE+, and the restructuring teams in Denmark and Sweden worked alongside.
- Representing the major real estate group IK Gruppen in restructuring combined with the acquisition of a property company and refinancing oof a bond loan in a real estate portfolio in central Oslo. Estimated value NOK 1 billion.
- Acting as administrator of the major Finnish TV-production company, Fisher King Production Oy, involving many foreign creditors and contract partners. Funding was obtained, and the business continued.
- Representing the interests of the Nordic institutional investors in the ongoing court case against the management of the Danish O.W. Bunker A/S.
- Acting as trustee of the major Swedish manufacturer of motor vehicles and trailers Componenta Främmestad AB in bankruptcy.
- Acting as administrator in the successful restructuring of Bugbear Entertainment Oy, a Finnish gaming industry company.
- Acted as trustee of Copenship A/S in bankruptcy. The Copenship Group was active worldwide in dry bulk commodities and had an extensive trading history with most major trading houses and many end-users and suppliers.
- Representing the insurance company AEGIS in litigation against insured auditors regarding a professional liability claim.
- Advising the Danish Guarantee Fund for Non-life Insurers regarding the insolvencies of insurance companies,e.g. Gable, Alpha and Qudos.
- Acting as restructuring administrator of several retail companies within electronics, clothing and accessories with more than 1,000 employees and 240 stores in total; e.g. Teknikmagasinet, Twilfit and VRG (Venue Retail Group).
- Acting as trustee of E. Pihl & Søn A/S in bankruptcy (Danish Tier 1 construction company with app. 3,000 employees worldwide).
- Appointed as trustee in bankruptcy of the Finnish company Samantien Holding Oy, involving cross-border criminal investigations, asset trading and recovery.
