Tobias Ziegler

Tobias Ziegler specialises in construction law and works specifically with all aspects of dispute resolution within the AB universe. He advises both Danish and international clients on construction law issues and real estate project development.

Tobias has conducted a large number of cases before both the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board and the civil courts, which has given him a solid and nuanced insight into the many facets of construction law. He also has extensive experience with warranty claims under AB warranties – both as an advisor to the party requesting payment and to the party defending against such claims. Tobias assists contractors, developers and bankruptcy estates in warranty management and has handled cases involving claims in the order of significant double-digit millions.

In addition, Tobias assists construction industry players in the preparation and negotiation of construction contracts. He has experience with the entire contract process – from risk assessment and structuring to negotiation and final contract conclusion – and has assisted in the development of both large commercial and residential projects. Tobias also has experience with complex contract structures involving multiple parties and many different contracts, including as a developer and total or main contractor.

Tobias regularly advises his own clients, including professional players and large housing cooperatives. He is known for communicating complex legal matters in an accessible manner and creating practical, solution-oriented results that balance legal certainty with commercial considerations.
