Stefan Westh Wiencken
Stefan Westh Wiencken is primarily engaged in corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital markets and investments as well as company law.
Stefan often advises owner-managed enterprises across several sectors, and he also advises international groups and funds on sales, purchases and investments.
He has a wealth of experience in mergers and acquisitions, providing legal advice to both buyers and sellers in all phases of a transaction process. Furthermore, Stefan provides advice within capital markets and assists businesses especially in handling issues within IPOs, corporate governance and ongoing compliance.
He is also experienced in business-angel and venture-capital investments and provides advice to both investors and capital-seeking businesses. Moreover, Stefan advises associations within the law of associations, including on operational and corporate governance issues.
In addition, he co-authored “Civil Liability for the Key Investment Information Sheet in Denmark”, Nordic Journal of Commercial Law, 2022.
- Stefan acted for Vistage Worldwide (Vistage) and its owner, PE fund Gridiron Capital, on the acquisition of Executive Global Network (EGN). The transaction was handled out of Denmark and DLA Piper offices in six other countries were involved.
- Stefan acted for Swedish investment company Storskogen on the acquisition of 82% of the shares in Danish consulting engineering company INGENIØR'NE A/S.
- Stefan acted for Belgian Etex Group on the acquisition of Danish Skamol. The transaction was handled out of Denmark and DLA Piper offices in eight other countries were involved.
