Belinda Qehaja deals primarily with matters within mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and investments, advising on all aspects of the transaction process.

She also deals with commercial contracts and general company law, including group structures and restructurings, and has extensive experience of mergers.

Belinda advises Danish and international enterprises and is experienced in providing buy-side as well as sell-side advice across various sectors. 

Belinda was previously seconded to the DLG Group (a leading Danish enterprise within food, energy and housing), where she advised on general company law, M&A and the drafting of commercial contracts.

Recent highlights
  • Belinda was involved in advising five suburban Copenhagen municipalities – Albertslund, Ballerup, Furesø, Ishøj and Vallensbæk – on the acquisition of Danish refuse collection company Ressourceindsamling A/S from private-sector refuse collector REMONDIS A/S. Belinda advised on the company-law and commercial aspects relating to the transfer and was involved in drafting and negotiating the transaction documents.  
  • Belinda was involved in advising Storskogen on its acquisition of Scandinavian Cosmetics Group. The acquisition was a Nordic transaction, sparking collaboration across the Nordic DLA Piper offices, and Belinda assisted in the Danish due diligence.  
  • Belinda provided legal services to Danish venture capital firm Nordic Eye in connection with its investment in Danish e-bike company MATE, where she assisted in due diligence.
